Amedeo Obici

(1877-1947)

Amedeo Voltejo Obici, born in Oderzo, Italy, immigrated to America and founded Planter's Peanuts in Suffolk, VA in 1913. His philanthropist mindset led him to establish a trust which funded Louise Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk in memory of his late wife, Loiuse Musante. Today, we honor Amedeo Obici and his legacy by bringing you authentic Italian recipes based on his Italian hometown.
